![]() ![]() With God's grace on this endeavour and these people, we hope that UTC will consequently itself prosper as a place of worthwhile learning, not only for the sake of a better citizenry, but for the sake of the kingdom of Christ in every sphere of life. ![]() Necessarily concurrent with this goal will be our effort to help scholars to grow in the Christian faith and deepen their walk with the Lord, in both private and public life. We therefore seek to encourage and produce Christian scholars: students and faculty who not only embrace a Christian worldview, but also understand how that worldview contributes to their fields of study and vocation. While retaining this belief, the study center's mission is to compliment the efforts of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) to educate students as "citizens for tomorrow,"* by nurturing within the university community the wisdom and perspective of a Christian understanding of human nature and the world we live in. We believe that the Christian faith, with its Judaic and Classical roots, contributes a vibrant and beneficial perspective to every field of study, as it has proven so to do in the past. The Behavior Disorders Clinic and Autism Services team at the Child Study Center provides treatment to children with developmental disabilities who display difficult behaviors such as noncompliance, tantrums, property destruction, self-injury, aggression, and food refusal. We aspire to be a community where the love of learning flourishes in Christian hearts The Christian Study Center of Chattanooga is an independent educational non-profit corporation which seeks to engage in a shared exploration of knowledge and understanding with our local university for the common good of us all. ![]()
